October 22, 2009 - The Rock River Chapter honored four staunch supporters of the American Red Cross and our mission: Stenstrom Companies Culver's Restaurant GKN Foundation Rockford Fire Department This event also served as the launch of the Community HEROES campa...ign. This grassroots campaigns calls on civic groups, companies, individuals, etc. to raise a minimum of $1,000 for the Rock River Chapter. This donation is visible with immediate satisfaction, as 90 cents from every dollar goes directly to supporting everyday people as they support victims of disasters.
